Lee stated that he first recommended Bitcoin (BTC) to clients in 2017 when it traded around $1,000 and that the cryptocurrency experienced multiple declines of up to 75% in subsequent years before hitting 100x gains.&nbsp;“We believe ETH is embarking on that same Supercycle,” he wrote on X. Ethereum had lagged behind Bitcoin for much of early 2025, with ETH peaking at $4,946 in August while&nbsp;<a href="http://stocktwits.com/coins/bitcoin">Bitcoin’s price</a> reached over $126,000 in October. Ethereum holdings of the co-founder and former CEO of Bitmex fell from 6,500 ETH to 5,000 ETH over the weekend.

Li Lin, founder of Huobi and chairman of Hong Kong-based Avenir Capital, is reportedly leading a new $1 billion Ethereum (ETH) trust, teaming up with some of Asia’s most influential early Ethereum investors.According to a Bloomberg&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-10-17/huobi-founder-li-lin-set-to-launch-1-billion-ether-accumulator">report</a> citing people familiar with the matter, the initiative may involve acquiring a Nasdaq-listed company to structure the trust. Sources said the group has already secured roughly $1 billion in commitments, including about $200 million from Li’s Avenir Capital and $500 million from regional institutional investors such as HongShan Capital Group.&nbsp;Li has reportedly partnered with Fenbushi Capital co-founder Shen Bo, HashKey Group CEO Xiao Feng, and Meitu founder Cai Wensheng to form a digital asset vehicle designed to accumulate and hold Ether. Ethereum Jumps On The Privacy Bandwagon With Kohaku Roadmap Plans 

Kohaku arrives amid heightened attention to privacy following Zcash’s controversial delisting from certain platforms earlier this year. 

Bit Digital (BTBT) announced on Wednesday that it has acquired an additional 31,057 Ethereum (ETH) tokens, bringing its total holdings to more than 150,000 tokens.The company said the latest purchase was funded with net proceeds from a recently completed $150 million convertible note offering. The notes carried an initial conversion price of $4.16 per share, representing an 8.2% premium to the company’s estimated mNAV at the time of pricing.<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/ETH.X">Ethereum’s price</a> was trading at around $4,500 in early morning trade after falling nearly 5% in the last 24 hours. This puts the value of Bit Digital’s 150,244 ETH holdings at around $673 million.<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/BTBT">BTBT’s stock</a> rose 1.6% in pre-market trade. However, retail sentiment around the shares on Stocktwits dipped to ‘bullish’ from ‘extremely bullish’ over the past day as chatter remained at ‘high’ levels.&nbsp;“The structure of our convertible notes allowed us to raise capital at a premium to mNAV, and we have deployed those proceeds directly into ETH,” Bit Digital CEO Sam Tabar said. “We are focused on expanding our Ethereum treasury in a cost-effective manner, while benefiting from the growth of our majority stake in WhiteFiber.”WhiteFiber (WYFI), Bit Digital’s AI infrastructure and high-performance computing subsidiary, is central to the company’s evolving strategy.
